2003 // Hospital in the spotlight

Coups de projecteurs à l'hôpitalBetween September 15th and 20th 2003, Kyrnéa International organised a 6-day outdoor projection in a hospital, creating thus an opportunity for patients, residents, families, professionals and a larger public to meet.

This experience illustrated these institutions’ will to be portrayed as special places within a town, to give a more human picture, notably through initiatives or cultural quality projects that weave again social bounds between ill people and those in good health.

As part of the interdepartmental program on the development of culture in health institutions or housings for senior citizens, hospitals, clinics, old people’s homes, have organized outdoor film projections within their premises, along with debates and exchanges on the themes : cinema, culture, health and society.

During 6 days, these institutions located in several French towns have thus opened their doors for a unique forum with patients, residents, families, professionals and a more general public. This experience illustrates these institutions’ will to be portrayed as special places in a town, to give a more human picture, notably through initiatives or cultural quality projects that weave again social bounds between ill people and those in good health.
